Ranked #5 AC DallasTune into Gosports.com May 3rd - 5th and watch AC Dallas battle at the 2nd stop of the NXL US Tour in Texas. Ac Dallas is one of the most consistent teams on the NXL circuit for a reason, they don’t make many mistakes and if they do they are quick to reassess and reposition to counter the hole created. Though they are knocked by critics for playing a conservative brand of paintball they actually are stacked with aggressive players and they tend to play more aggressive at the beginning of the games. But when they stack up a lead, which is often, they are hard to dig out their spots. They run a tight ship and have a super solid starting five.Brad McCurley is their most aggressive player and he traditionally leads the attack on the D-side. TJ Danner who plays right behind McCurley is one of the most consistent players a team that prides itself on survivability. But he can also switch to playing the first attacker when the need arises.Matt Jackson looked like a man possessed at the first NXL event in Vegas, and he’s a brutal attacker that could play for any team in the league. His brother John excels at shooting of the break and making huge counter moves up the center. But they added more firepower this year.AC Dallas was lacking a consistent snake attacker, so they moved up rookie BJ Heningburg in order to produce offense. Bobby Aviles is a solid veteran who came over from the Ironmen and has always shown the ability to win points when the chaos starts setting in.nAC Dallas is a team on the edge of greatness, a team that is always in the hunt on Sunday. In Vegas they only lost one game, and only lost it by one point, to Houston heat in the quarter finals. They’re close to a win, they know it, their opponents know it, and their fans are begging to see it. With their new line-up it could happen on home turf at the second event in Texas.
